New Plain Numbers workshop for staff and volunteers in the community and voluntary sector

New Plain Numbers workshop for staff and volunteers in the community and voluntary sector

National College of Ireland
10 am - 12.30 pm
23 January 2013

Building on the success of our plain English courses, we now invite staff and volunteers in the community and voluntary sector to enrol for our first Plain Numbers workshop. If you deal with numbers, then this training is for you. It will help you present numbers in a way that is easy for readers to understand. We all have to present information on money, trends, rates, budgets, statistics and so on. This workshop will help you present this information more effectively. It will be of particular interest to accounts staff, HR personnel, administration staff, advisory personnel and researchers.

The workshop will be hosted by Daniel Sellers, Numeracy Consultant and Claire O’Riordan, NALA Plain English Coordinator. It is open to staff and volunteers in the sector who want to present numerical information more clearly.

Book early as places are limited. For more information or to book in for this training, contact Daniel Griffin (01) 412 7929.
