Plain English Training Day

NALA is running a one-day training programme in Dublin on Wednesday 18 June. This training is practical and will help you communicate more clearly with your intended reader. The day runs from 9.30 am to 3 pm. If you would like to book a place, please contact Anne Murphy at amurphy@nala.ie or (01) 412 7901.

Anne will be happy to mail you further information on our training. Please note that you must pay for the course before you attend. Luckily, it is just €120 per person and (€100 if you are from the community and voluntary sector). We look forward to seeing you! Book early as places are limited.

NALA Won Bid To Host Prestigious PLAIN Conference

We are delighted to announce that we won our bid to host the Plain Language Association International (PLAIN) 2015 Conference in Dublin. Previous conference locations were Sydney, Sweden, the Netherlands and Vancouver (October 2013). We are very excited about the conference. We see it as an opportunity to raise greater awareness of the need for plain language. We will keep you updated on conference developments.
